FAQ

Can I read Threads comments without an account?

Yes. Paste a public post URL or shortcode and this page loads the latest set of public replies in the browser. You do not log in to Threads. The list is one page, not every reply that exists. A full export of a post’s threads and likers is handled in the extension.

What should I paste: a link or a code?

Either works. A typical link looks like threads.com/@username/post/ followed by the shortcode. You can also paste the shortcode alone. The page reads the code from the URL path and ignores the rest, then asks Threads for the recent public replies on that post.

Are these all of the replies on the post?

No. The free viewer returns the latest page of public replies and does not follow the next cursor. If a post has a long thread, you are seeing the newest slice only. Threads Export Tool can export a post’s threads and a post’s likers once you are logged in to Threads.

Do I need the extension to view replies?

No. This preview is free in the browser after the security check. Install the extension when you need the replies, or the likers, saved as CSV, Excel, or JSON while you are logged in to Threads. This page only shows the latest slice.
