Threads Engagement Rate

See average likes, replies, reposts, and quotes on the latest public posts, then the engagement rate against followers. The sample is about 10 posts, not the full history.

Who this is for

Built for people comparing recent public response, not for a full analytics export.

Creators

Compare your latest public posts with a peer when Threads’ own analytics view is too thin for a quick check.

Brand teams

Estimate recent public response — likes, replies, reposts, and quotes — before you pay for a partnership.

Agencies

Put a simple rate next to the follower count so a large account with quiet posts does not look stronger than it is.

How it works

  1. 1

Paste a public Threads username or profile URL.

  2. 2

Complete the security check. The page loads about 10 recent public posts.

  3. 3

Read average likes, replies, reposts, quotes, and the engagement rate versus followers.

FAQ

How is the Threads engagement rate calculated?

The rate is (average likes + average replies + average reposts + average quotes) divided by the public follower count. Averages come from the latest page of public posts, about 10 items, not from the account’s full history. The page prints this formula next to the result so the sample size stays visible.

Is a high follower count the same as high engagement?

No. Followers are the size of the public profile. Engagement here is recent activity on the sampled posts, divided by that follower count. A large account can show a small rate, and a smaller account can show a higher one. Use both numbers, and remember the sample is short.

Does this include private posts or older posts?

Private accounts do not load a timeline, so there is no rate. Public accounts contribute only the latest page returned, about 10 posts. Older posts are outside this free check. A larger export of threads and replies is what the extension is for, once you are logged in.

Do I need an extension to see the rate?

No. The checker runs in the browser after the security check. Install Threads Export Tool if you want to export more posts, a user’s replies, a post’s threads, or a post’s likers to CSV, Excel, or JSON while you are logged in.

Export more with Threads Export Tool

These pages show one public snapshot. The extension runs inside Threads and exports a user’s threads, a user’s replies, a post’s threads, and a post’s likers to CSV, Excel, or JSON.
